Here is what HR professionals would tell if if we could be honest. When you report
someone to HR, we don't just investigate them. We investigate both of you.
So, if you report a coworker you don't get along with, understand there
is a good chance they will share something with HR about you to get you in trouble.
At that point we may have to dig into your information. Everything. So before you file
that complaint about your annoying coworker, ask yourself if your record is squeaky clean.
Because if we find out you've been doing shady stuff too, now we've got two
problems to deal with instead of one. This isn't a one way street.
