Humanoid Robot Learns to Fold Towels

Finally, some good news from the robotics world… I think? Kinsi Robotics recently

revealed a humanoid robot being trained to fold towels. I wouldn’t mind having a robot fold

and put away my laundry. More time for me to bed-rot and scroll away all afternoon.

I’m just hoping that it’s able to function fully autonomously. Teleoperation makes me a bit concerned.

I just feel nervous about having someone being able to look around my room, you know.

But maybe that’s just me. It was taught using kinesthetic teaching. Instead of painstakingly

programming it from scratch, the AI maps out actions recorded by a human operator.
