Guys, I think I just kissed my crush. Like… actually kissed her.

So I’m at this small get-together after school. Nothing crazy. Just a few friends,

music playing, everyone pretending they’re not awkward. I’m sitting on the couch,

scrolling on my phone, when she sits down next to me. Way too close.

I can smell her perfume and my brain immediately stops working. I swear my heart

started beating in my ears. We start talking. About nothing. Literally nothing.

Just random jokes, laughing way too much at things that aren’t even funny. Then there’s this

pause. Not an awkward one. A quiet one. And she looks at me.
