I Push Through

Alone in the dark, frost on the glass. Breathe in the

air, hard in the past. Coffee gone cold, same heavy coat.

Bust out wind, hands in my throat. Push through the winter,

push through the pain. Every frozen morning melts into change. I've been on

the bottom, snow in my shoes. But I keep walking,

I push through. I push throu-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ough. I push throu-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ough. Gray in the sky,

blue in my chest. Thoughts run in circles, I'm losing rest.

But there's that kid, laughing on a train. Tiny reminder,
