I Taught the Son of God How to Work

I taught Him how to hold a hammer. How to measure twice.

How to sand rough edges smooth. He listened carefully. Never rushed. Never complained.

Sometimes I’d catch Him staring into the distance as if carrying a weight far beyond

His years. He worked with His hands, but His heart was always somewhere

deeper. I didn’t understand everything about Him. But I knew this:

God trusted me to raise His Son. And that humbled me every single

day. Mark chapter six, verse three.
