I Thought I Was a Trader

I called myself a trader. I had indicators. I had signals. I even had

confidence. So I thought... this is trading. Then came the reality check.

Loss after loss. One day someone asked me: Why did you enter this trade?

I said... It looked good. Where is your stop loss? I'll see later.

How much are you risking? I didn't calculate. That's when it hurt.

I wasn't trading. I was gambling with charts. Trading is boring. Gambling is exciting.

Now I trade with rules. Entry. Risk. Exit.

Less excitement. More survival. If you can't explain the trade... You're not trading.
