You see something, small shoes on the floor. Tiny hands are

reaching for something more. They come to us trusting, just as they

are, not knowing how fragile their stories are. We see scraped

knees, we see tired eyes. We hear the words that don't

sound right. And sometimes the signs don't shout or scream. They whisper softly

in between. We don't need proof, we don't need names,

just a reason to pause, just a sense something's changed.
