Ignored Boundaries and Unmet Expectations

“He ignored my boundary completely… and acted like it was no big deal.” Part 2

The next day I ask him where the sake is. He shrugs and says: “Oh,

I shared the sake and the wine with the guys. They finished everything.” I froze.

Shocked. Angry. Hurt. This wasn’t a misunderstanding — we’d had explicit

conversations about this, over and over. Then he makes it worse:

He says he “forgot.” Then adds: “I don’t remember unimportant stuff.” Unimportant?

A boundary I repeated clearly? A sentimental bottle from my trip? And the cherry on

top? I had literally brought him a separate whisky bottle JUST for his friends
