1 Samuel 26 - Integrity Tested: David Spares Saul Again

For the second time, God delivered Saul into David's hand while he slept. Abishai urged David

to kill him, but David again refused to harm the Lord's anointed, trusting God's timing

for judgment. He took only Saul's spear and water as proof of his restraint.

When confronted, Saul again confessed his sin and acknowledged David's righteousness. God's lesson: Consistent

integrity proves genuine character. When tested repeatedly with the same temptation, faithful obedience

to God's ways—even when difficult—demonstrates true righteousness and brings divine vindication in His

perfect time.
