The world promises peace, but never manages to deliver it. The Bible proclaims

a Prince of Peace. In Isaiah, the Messiah is called the Prince

of Peace. In Hebrew, שַׂר־שָׁלוֹם. It is not the absence of

war. It is the One who establishes order, reconciliation,

and restoration, and who provides a peace that reaches the inner being.
