Job Scam: A Cautionary Tale

If you're job hunting online… listen carefully. I applied for a “remote data entry” job.

Looked legit. Normal website. Normal emails. Then they asked for my bank details

— “Salary will be transferred directly,” they said. I trusted them.

I sent it. They even sent a $1,200 sign-up bonus. That’s how they get you.

The next morning… I opened my app… $4,200 gone. Drained. Bank flagged it

as fraud. And the “company”? Deleted. Website gone. Emails bouncing.

I didn’t just lose money… I gave a scammer full access to my identity.
