Jones Generation Women Stepping Forward

Learned today I'm not a boomer, I am from the Jones era. This resonates.

'55. I feel like a combination of these eras. I was younger than the hippies,

never did drugs and felt like a flower child instead. love music for both eras and the saturday

cartoons with trix. Too young to protest so I worked in my capacity to change things in my school

to allow girls to participate in events and classes normally reserved for boys. Our teachers were

great and agreed so girls were let in. this was the mindset of girls then.

We weren't supposed to be independent and start businesses become lawyers and ceos and scientists

but we did. We saw our grandmother's who were at one time considered property and our
