Judge Vanishes, Found Dead 1,600 Miles Away

This Texas judge vanished from his living room and turned up dead 1,600 miles away the very

next day. It was Super Bowl Sunday 1993 in Amarillo. David Lewis left fresh sandwiches

and his wedding ring on the counter, and the VCR was recording the game. It looked like he

just stepped out for a second. But 24 hours later, his body was found on a dark highway

in Washington State. He was the victim of a hit-and-run, wearing military camo he didn't own

and missing the glasses he needed to see. It took 11 years to identify him,

and to this day, nobody knows how he made that impossible trip or why.
