Jungle Terror

Two explorers hacked through bright jungle vines when something massive moved above them.

A snake the size of a tree trunk dropped between them, its scales glistening

in piercing sunlight. They froze. The serpent's head swayed, tongue tasting their

fear. One friend locked eyes with it while the other didn't dare breathe.

Then it lunged. They dove opposite directions as thirty feet of muscle crashed through leaves where

they stood. They ran, never looking back, hearing it slither behind them through

that deceptively beautiful jungle. Some places aren't meant for humans.
