Just My Tractor and Me

Sun peeks over the red barn door. Coffee's hot, boots hit the

floor. Sky still painted a shade of gray. But that old

John Deere's calling my name. Diesel humming the fields away. Dew still shines

on every blade. Out here the world feels free. It's just my tractor and me.

Turn the key. Hear that engine sing. It's the sweetest song the morning

brings. Rolling through rows under sunrise skies. Proud of the life that money

can't buy. From the soil to the seed, to the crops I see.

There's no place I'd rather be. Then riding through life so wild and free.
