Justine Damond Shot by Responding Officer

A Minnesota woman called police for help during a domestic dispute. Officers arrived

at her apartment and within minutes, she was shot and killed by one of those officers.

The victim, Justine Damond, had heard what she thought was a woman being assaulted

in the alley behind her home and called 911 twice. When police arrived, she approached their

vehicle in her pajamas. Officer Mohamed Noor fired his weapon from inside the squad car,

shooting across his partner and through the driver's side window, killing Justine

instantly. She was unarmed. The bodycams were not activated. Noor was later convicted

of third-degree murder and sentenced to prison. The city of Minneapolis paid her family
