Today, we will look at the key components that make up a Local Area Network.
First, the File Server. This device manages network traffic and regulates communication
between computers, ensuring that data flows efficiently. Next, we have the Bridge.
A bridge is a combination of hardware and software used to connect groups of computers,
allowing them to function as part of the same network. A Router is a specialized computer that directs
communications, especially when multiple LANs are connected together. It determines the
best path for data to travel. The Backbone refers to the high-speed connections that
form the main pathways within the Internet or a large network, carrying the bulk of the data.
