Have you noticed one nostril feels more open, then later it switches?
That’s usually normal and it has a name. It’s called the nasal cycle your
nose naturally alternates airflow between sides. Inside your nose are structures called turbinates.
They can swell slightly on one side while the other side relaxes. This is controlled
automatically by your nervous system so you don’t consciously switch sides. Many people notice
it more when lying down, because blood flow and pressure can change which side
feels tighter. It’s usually not a problem unless it comes with pain,
