Leaves of Second Chances

A young jobless man in worn clothes walks slowly along a quiet city street, looking tired and

hungry. He watches sadly as a street-cleaning machine sweeps the road,

replacing human workers. His shoulders slump with hopelessness. Suddenly,

a kind witch in a soft purple cloak notices him from nearby. She gently raises

her wand. Magical leaves begin falling from the sky—first a few, then many,

then a heavy shower. The street-cleaning machine struggles, overloaded with leaves,

sparks slightly, and stops working. City workers arrive. The young man is given a broom and

starts sweeping. He smiles with relief and happiness as sunlight breaks through.
