Leaving Nets for a Greater Call

Jesus told exhausted fishermen to cast their nets after they caught nothing all night.

Simon Peter obeyed despite the impossible odds. Instantly, their nets overflowed

with so many fish the boats nearly sank. Peter fell to his knees,

overwhelmed by who stood before him. But Jesus wasn't interested in their past failures or

sins. He saw their future. He said, follow me, and I'll make you

fishers of men. They left everything, their boats, their catch, their entire livelihood,

right there on the shore. Because when God calls you into something greater,

the old life can't come with you. That morning, fishermen became disciples.
