Lessons of Love and Loss

Thank you for teaching me what love truly means. When I first said I love you,

they were just empty words. I had no idea what love really was. But after you left,

I finally understood. The ache in my chest, the endless dreams of you, the unbearable pain

of not seeing you, not hearing your voice, not being near you. It all taught me

what love feels like. I never knew these feelings before, but now I do.

And even though I realized it too late, I'm still grateful. Thank you for giving

me this feeling, because even if it hurts, I can die knowing I've loved.
