Locked in with the Void

Self-destruct kicks in, slow burn. Like a fight's about to break out,

but in your own goddamned skull. Ain't no voices, ain't no sound. Just me and

the dark, locked down, no out. Clock stop ticking, days don't move.

Every thought a hammer, every breath a noose. The walls lean

in, they whisper, they press. I talk to myself just to

see if I'm less. Nothing bites harder than a mind let loose.

Nothing feels real when there's nothing to lose. Heart goes cold, nerves go dead.

Ain't been touched, might as well be dead. Shadows get louder, self-destruct sets in.
