It’s easy to rejoice with friends when life is good—but what about loving people who hurt
you? The Bible says in Romans 12:14–15 - “Bless those who
persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.”
The Apostle Paul calls us to a supernatural response. This isn’t natural kindness—it’s Spirit-led
love. To bless those who persecute us means we refuse to let bitterness shape
our hearts. To rejoice and mourn with others means we don’t make life about ourselves—we
step into their joy and pain. This is how Christ loved us: present, compassionate,
and full of grace—even when it cost Him. Let us pray - Lord Jesus, teach me to love
