Most history books say World War One was the first global war. Dead wrong.
The first global war actually started in 1521 on a beach in the Philippines when Ferdinand Magellan
got killed by a local chieftain named Lapu Lapu. A pivotal moment where native Filipinos,
led by Datu Lapulapu, defeated Spanish forces under Ferdinand Magellan, a Portuguese explorer
sailing for Spain. It was the first recorded resistance against Spanish colonization in
the Philippines, showcasing Filipino bravery and the limitations of European weaponry against
determined local forces. But, Here's what they don't teach you
