Mars: Humanity's Backup Plan

Mars is actually just a giant rusty rock that might save us all. It is literally

covered in iron that rusted over billions of years giving it that blood-red look.

It used to have massive volcanoes three times the size of Everest and flowing rivers

but now it is frozen solid. Even though it seems dead there is still ice trapped there.

If we ever need a backup plan for Earth this frozen desert is humanity's best shot at a future.
