Max Verstappen's Challenging Childhood

Narrator: Whether you love him or hate him, one thing we can all agree on is

that Max Verstappen's childhood was far from easy. His upbringing was heavily influenced

by his father, JOSE VERSTAPPEN, a former Formula 1 driver himself. Narrator:

Back in 2012, when Max was just a teenager, he participated in a karting race

in Italy. Unfortunately, the race ended disappointingly for him due to a mistake he made

on the track. Narrator: On the 17-hour journey back home, Max’s dad,

Jose, was so upset that he forcibly made Max get out at a gas station and

drove off, leaving him alone in a foreign country. Narrator: Max’s mother,
