Microwaving Your Phone for Repair

Samsung's official repair guide literally tells you to microwave a heating pack and put it on your phone.

To remove the back glass, you heat a special pack for about a minute,

then let it sit on your phone's edge for three minutes to melt the adhesive. Next,

you use a suction cup to pull up and create a tiny gap. You slide a plastic pick in—but no more

than 3 millimeters deep, or you'll destroy the inside. You have to do this

on all four sides. Heat, pull, slice. It’s a whole process.

Finally, the back cover lifts off.
