Milo and the Sugar Cube Rescue

On a tall kitchen table lived a tiny character named Milo. Milo was as small

as a crumb and wore a bright blue hat that was a little too big for his head.

The table felt like a wide wooden road, full of scratches, shadows, and crumbs taller

than Milo himself. One quiet morning, Milo was walking along the table when he heard a

soft drip… drip. He looked up and saw a shiny drop of water sliding slowly across the

table. It wobbled and sparkled as it moved closer and closer to the edge.

Below the table, a small ant was curled up, fast asleep. The ant didn’t see

the water coming at all. “Oh no,” said Milo, his eyes growing wide.
