Minecraft’s Far Lands Myth

“Minecraft worlds are so insanely large that if you tried to walk from the center all the

way to the edge in Survival mode, it would take you YEARS in real life. The world stretches

over 60 million blocks in each direction, and long before you reach the edge, the game starts

breaking. Terrain becomes glitchy, blocks stop behaving normally,

and gravity doesn’t work right anymore. This mysterious area is called the Far Lands,

and it became so legendary that players treated it like a myth. Even though newer

versions removed it, the idea that Minecraft worlds are practically endless is one of

the reasons the game still feels so magical.”
