Your eyes froze me in time. And you claimed me as your own.

You seemed happy and carefree. And I didn't know back then that they used

your love to cage you, dressed up their chains as care. So you wore

your happy mask just to breathe that poisoned air. I offered up the stars,

every light up in the sky. You said you love me, but chose the

darkness where starlights can't survive. The day I let hope for
