Today’s topic: Nash Equilibrium, aka “When everyone chooses the best option
they can… GIVEN what everyone ELSE is doing… but the result is MID AT BEST.”
This is the most toxic relationship dynamic in economics. Let me explain: A Nash Equilibrium
happens when EACH player is like: “I could change my strategy… but it would make
my life WORSE given what THEY are doing.” So nobody changes. Everyone suffers. Peace returns.
But at what cost? (Every cost.) Example in Gen Z terms: You and your friend
both pretend you’re “not hungry.” Neither of you orders food. Thirty minutes later,
you’re BOTH starving but neither wants to admit weakness. That’s Nash Equilibrium. Another example:
