One of the most profound declarations of God’s power in the Bible actually comes from the mouth
of a straight-up villain. If you read the words about a dominion that is everlasting
and a kingdom that endures from generation to generation, you would assume it was written by
a prophet or found in the Psalms. But those are actually the final words of King Nebuchadnezzar.
We usually know this guy as the pagan ruler who threw three men into a fiery furnace
just because they wouldn't bow down to his giant golden statue. He is the ultimate
bad guy of the story. But in Daniel chapter four, the script flips completely.
