Nostalgia for Childhood

Every morning, I wake up tired. Brush my teeth and drag myself

to school expired. Lazy hip, heavy heart, I trudge along. Teacher's anger,

homework wrong. All the days of school, they were tough and grim.

But now I miss them and the love that's dim. Dad's gone,

teacher's gone. I'm left here alone. Wishing to be a child
