Oath by Firelight

Narrator (low reflective): The paladin sat by the fire as night closed in.

Its glow danced across old scars and worn armor. Narrator (anger beneath the words):

He remembered the battles— the shouts, the vows, the friends who

never walked away. Narrator (softening, heavy): Anger burned hot… then faded to grief.

The fire crackled. The night listened. Narrator (quiet resolve): He bowed his head,

carrying their memory— and the oath to stand, no matter the cost.
