Obsessed with the Days of the Week

I’m 14(M) and obsessed with the origins of the days of the week. I’ve always loved

learning how Sunday is named for the sun and Solis Dies (Sun’s Day) as well as its Germanic

& Norse sun goddess Sunna or Sol. Its Latin name is Solis. My parents have

always supported me, but they never understood my fascination with the days.

Everything changed in eighth grade, on a Monday (named for the moon, has a Germanic and

Norse moon god Mani and its Latin name is Lunae.) when my teacher introduced the origins of the
