and some throws are so precise they're clearly intentional. Researchers analyzed underwater footage
and found these eight-armed geniuses don't just toss things randomly. They aim at specific
targets, mostly other octopuses who annoyed them. The throws happen during disputes
over space or after mating attempts go wrong. What makes this wild is the accuracy.
Some octopuses wind up like baseball pitchers, using multiple arms to launch silt,
shells, and algae with serious force. One female was filmed hitting a male ten
times in a row after he got too pushy. The targeted octopus would actually duck or change color,
