Through all the noise, through changing days. Something real still

stay. Quiet nights, your hand in mine. No big words, no perfect lines.

Nothing promised, nothing said. But love was there, no right or wrong, no need to know,

we loved the best we could back then. Once we loved in gentle ways, in ordinary,

fragile days. Once we loved, no need to prove, it was enough just being true.

Some loves don't last forever. But they stay with us somehow. Oh.
