Paying for Lights at Noon

Every dad's got that one thing that sets them off. Mine? Lights.

Walked through the house this morning, every single room lit up like a stadium. Living room,

bathroom, kitchen, even the closet. Found my kid in their room with

the curtains wide open, sunlight pouring in, and the ceiling

light still blazing. Asked them why. They looked at me dead serious and said they needed

it to see better. It's literally noon. The sun is doing all the work. I'm out here paying

the electric company to compete with daylight. My wallet just started crying.
