Practice vs. Application in Magic

Practice and Life Is your practice your life or do you practice to live?

A big problem with magic in general is that the process of learning it and the process of using

it are two different things. Practice is about learning how to do it.

It takes time, can be exceedingly dull and in general has both a beginning and an end.

Application is about taking those skills you've learned and applying them. What to know why

you fly off the handle when your neighbors cats hop into your backyard? Then practice watching

thoughts. Need to run longer. Work with the letter Zed. Both those things

assume you have the skill already and a lot of practitioners fall in love with the art of practice.
