Praying a Covering Over Your Children

Praying for your children is one of the most powerful things you will ever do as a parent,

a grandparent, or even as someone who simply loves a child. You may not be able

to control the world they grow up in, and you certainly cannot walk every step of life for

them, but you can go before God on their behalf. Long before they face temptation,

disappointment, or confusion, your prayers can already be building a covering around

their lives. The Bible shows us again and again that God listens when parents cry

out for their children, and that those prayers do not return empty. Prayer for your children does not

have to be complicated or full of perfect words. It begins with relationship, not performance.
