Pride’s Fall in Heaven

Lucifer was perfect until he looked in the mirror. Heaven's most beautiful angel became obsessed

with his own reflection. Isaiah captures the moment pride infected perfection. "I will ascend above

the heights of the clouds, I will make myself like the Most High." Five declarations

of self-worship. Five nails in his coffin. The rebellion wasn't about theology.

It was about ego. Lucifer saw God creating humanity and couldn't stomach the idea of serving

something made from dust. His brilliance became his blindness. Ezekiel reveals

he was the anointed cherub, walking among fiery stones, perfect in beauty.

But perfection without humility is just a countdown to catastrophe. One third of angels followed him down.
