Questioning the True Purpose of Education

We obsess over innovation in education. AI tutors, shiny tablets, smart boards in

every room. But Paulo Freire would cut through all that noise with one brutal question.

Has the power dynamic actually changed? Because if students still memorize instead of question,

if teachers still lecture instead of dialogue, if curiosity gets punished like it's

disruption, then all that technology is just expensive wallpaper on the same broken system.

Freire didn't care about devices. He cared about consciousness. About people understanding the world deeply

enough to actually change it. A future where students challenge assumptions, interrogate power

structures, read reality as critically as they read books. That's uncomfortable.
