Rattle the Cage

I've been sleeping in the belly of a rusted-out bus Turning my prayers

into nothing but rust. Got a pocket full of copper and a head

full of steam. And a jagged little hole and a fever dream. The sun is

a liar, the moon is a thief. And I'm just a man looking

for a little relief. I can feel the rattle in the back of

my teeth. There's a monster living in the skin underneath. I'm tired of

the quiet, I'm tired of the norm. I got a suitcase full of

ready-to-go. I've been a shadow, I've been a ghost.
