Creating kids content that actually teaches real social skills is way more controversial than you think.

Most children's shows just tell kids to be nice and magically friends appear,

but that's not how it works in real playgrounds. I spent months developing this little dinosaur

character who's genuinely awkward, not just cute-shy. He doesn't instantly fit in because he

collects rocks while other dinos play tag. The breakthrough moment isn't some

grand gesture, it's when he quietly shares his favorite shiny rock with a lonely triceratops

sitting alone. No singing about friendship, just authentic connection through small acts.
