So what does survival mode do to your boundaries? If trauma reshapes identity,
it does something else too. It distorts your boundaries. In survival mode,
your system learns one rule: stay safe at all costs. So you blend, you appease,
you over-function. You ignore discomfort. You say yes before you even realize you wanted to say
no. Not because you lack willpower, but because your nervous system thinks
boundary-setting equals danger. You weren't taught to trust your inner signals,
you were taught to override them. Rebuilding boundaries after CPTSD isn't about becoming tough
or confident. It's about learning to recognize your own internal cues again,
