Recognizing Toxic Friendships

T-O-X-I-C. T-O-X-I-C. Toxic, toxic. Don't play with

toxic. Do you know what a red flag is? Not the kind

it waves in the air. It's an imaginary sign in your mind

when something doesn't feel fair. T-O-X-I-C. Some friends only play if they

pick the game. Or when they get upset they say you're to blame.

They tease, pull you close then leave you out. Your heart is

saying this isn't what friendships are about. When a friend is kind one

day and cruel the next, that's toxic. Real friendship stays the same.
