Red Panda Rides a Tricycle

Red pandas can't ride bikes, but this one just proved me wrong. Found footage from

a Chinese wildlife sanctuary shows a red panda that somehow learned to balance on a

tricycle. Keepers say it started by climbing on bikes left near its enclosure. After months of

watching visitors, it figured out pedaling. Now it rides laps every morning before breakfast.

Scientists are baffled because red pandas have semi-retractable claws and flexible ankles for climbing

trees, not operating vehicles. This one just rewired its brain for cycling instead.
