Reevaluating the School System's Purpose

School trains you to sit still for eight hours while someone talks at you,

then punishes you for forgetting information you crammed the night before. The entire system

was designed during the industrial revolution to create obedient factory workers who follow orders

and don't question authority. That's why we have bells, rigid schedules,

and standardized tests that measure absolutely nothing about real intelligence or capability.

The craziest part is we're forced to learn calculus and memorize dates from history,

but nobody teaches us how to file taxes, manage money, or handle basic life skills.
