Remembering Me

Yeah. I've been gone for a minute. Not from the world.

But from myself, from myself. I used to wake up feeling pretty,

like the sun chose me to shine. Hair done, hips soft,

every curve by design. But somewhere in the chaos and the love

that felt unfair, I started hiding all the pieces of the woman I used to

wear. Stopped dressing how I loved to. Stopped looking in the mirror long

'cause it's hard to feel feminine when your heart don't feel strong. And every time
