Renewable vs Non-Renewable Energy

Renewable energy, unlike finite fossil fuels, comes from natural sources such as

sunshine, wind, water, and Earth's heat, which replenish

quickly. Examples include geothermal, hydropower, wind,

and solar power. This clean energy is really important to fight climate change and make

sure there’s clean energy for the future. Non-renewable: Non-renewable energy comes from natural resources

that are limited, like fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) and uranium

for nuclear power, that are consumed much faster than renewable energy, usually taking millions

of years to form. These resources cannot be replaced by humans, meaning they will
